We rented studio 307 at Termalia 1 for five nights. The arrival instructions came by text and were clear. The studio is 20 m2, and while it wasn’t expensive, being able to cook is normally part of what you expect when renting one. The electric hotplates barely warmed up, so we couldn’t cook the food we’d bought. The microwave was dirty and rusty inside. There was only one small spoon, and the hood light didn’t work. The fridge’s top freezer door was missing, with defrost water collecting in the tray that we had to empty. A cupboard door was hanging by one hinge. The bed was made of two mattresses stacked together and in such poor shape that we kept rolling toward the middle overnight. We told the manager, who replaced the mattress with one described as new for the third night because his employee was away. The employee got it from another studio. They also repaired the closet door at the same time. Capvern is quiet and has few shops in the town center, though the bar also has a grocery store, which is useful, and there’s an excellent pizzeria. We liked the setting and will definitely come back, but studio 307 needs renovating. We left a day early and got a refund for the final night. The manager said he wasn’t required to give it, but with the problems we had, we thought it was only normal. You can decide for yourself.
