Htel de la Source

The team are attentive and very friendly, and the chef clearly loves his work. He’s passionate about the dishes and enjoys telling you about them. The food is delicious, and the place has a lovely sense of history. Fernandel’s autograph in the breakfast room is a real treat. There are special takeaway meals for spa guests, with a reduced rate for three weeks of meals. They’re delicious and very reasonably priced. It’s worth a visit!

I’m never disappointed when I come here. The owners are wonderful and take great care of customers, and the generous takeaway lunch is only 13 euros. It tastes just right. When cakes like chocolate éclairs are on the menu, they come from the baker next door, who uses excellent flour from the region’s last remaining watermill. They have a great attitude. Well done, and thank you!

We were just passing through Capvern and stopped at the restaurant. The set menu was excellent, especially the rabbit à la vigneronne and the homemade lemon cream dessert. Service was quick and very pleasant. For two, the total was a very reasonable €37, including a glass of wine and two good coffees. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

For 15-20 euros per meal, the restaurant serves excellent seafood paella in generous portions, followed by very good dessert. The service was good too.
