The owners were lovely and made parking our car easy, plus they gave us helpful tips on where to go. We only needed a night in Carcassonne, so the price and location suited us. Our room was on the top floor with a view over the city ramparts, which felt like a lucky bonus. It was modern and well kept, and the bathroom was excellent. You’re outside the medieval city here, so expect about a 10-minute uphill walk.

The room had a really comfortable bed, a great shower, and lovely decor, with excellent facilities. I think I got lucky and had the best room, right at the top with a stunning view of fortified Carcassonne. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are lovely, and there’s even a hotel cat. It’s in a fabulous location, and I’d love to come back. Anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Carcassonne should come here.

The family staff were very friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby in this pleasant town. It’s a nice hotel, about a 10-minute walk from the Carcassone castle. Parking is close by, though it can be restricted at times. The room was good, with air conditioning and a shower.

The terrace has stunning views, especially at night. La Cite is just a few minutes away on foot, with lots of great places to eat nearby. A great place to stay in Carcassonne.

The garden was a delight, and we enjoyed a good bottle of wine from their shop out there. We had a wonderful three-night stay. The hosts were so kind and helpful, the beds were good, and the shower was good too. It’s a charming, authentic hotel in a very quiet spot at the base of the medieval city. The roof terrace is a great place for photos. Many thanks.
