The room's designer decor sits nicely in a 19th-century building, and the service was simply superlative. It's just a stroll to the central square, and you can walk to the gare. I just finished a terrific six-day stay and would have stayed longer. This feels more like a small inn than a B&B. One heads-up: a taxi may try to drop you at the nearby A La Bastide.

The owners are so kind and welcoming, and the breakfast is fantastic. The croissants were the best we've had on all our travels. La Cité, the medieval walled city, is an easy walk away, and there are lots of places to eat just minutes from the B&B. The location is perfect for spending time in Carcassonne. The AC was amazing in the warm weather, and we can't wait to come back for a much longer stay soon!

Place Carnot is just around the corner, with lots of spots to eat and drink, and there are plenty of interesting things to see in the city centre too, including churches, the Musée des beaux-arts, and the canal du midi. The walk to the foot of the Medieval city takes about 20 minutes, and it's spectacular. Our hosts were generous and helpful, and breakfast was lovely, with fresh bread and pastries from a local bakery. If you eat at 7:30, they're still warm. The room was huge and comfortable, and the air conditioning was a welcome relief in the heat. There's Netflix on the TV and the Wi-Fi was good. Absolutely superb!

Our hosts were brilliant, and the free breakfast was lovely. The room was luxurious, with an ensuite bathroom, a bath, and a large shower. It also had a TV with Netflix and good free Wi-Fi. Comparing prices, I thought it was good value and made for a really special stay. We've bookmarked it for our next visit and can easily recommend it.

There's parking available, and the breakfast was excellent. The room was beautiful, right in the centre of Bastide and an easy walk from everything Carcassonne has to offer.
