Lecrin De La Cite

The house has lovely outdoor spaces, with a pool, two jacuzzis, a pétanque court and a garden, plus great views of Carcassonne and the surrounding vineyards. It’s a short walk from La Cité. The kitchen, bedrooms and living areas are incredibly well equipped. It really is a dream house, and Cédric was a professional, thoughtful and welcoming host.

We arrived at the start of October for a long weekend, a group of 10 women, and the villa was amazing. It was spotless everywhere, and the kitchen was especially well equipped. Cédric sent us lots of information before we arrived and was a perfect host. We had lovely weather, so we made good use of the outdoor space, pool, hot tub and sunbeds. We’ll definitely come back. We spent a wonderful week in this spacious house, with its lovely garden, pool and two jacuzzis. The citadel is an easy walk away, and the main town is a little farther on. The views are incredible all around, especially toward the citadel, with beautiful countryside beyond it. A fantastic place for a holiday.

Cedric was such a gentleman, even arranging a couple of bedrooms with single and bunk beds for the children and welcoming one of our party with birthday flowers. The house was perfect for our group of 13, including six children, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space so nobody felt crowded. There’s a big garden for ball games, a pool and hot tubs, plus badminton, table tennis, petanque, two TV seating areas, indoor and outdoor tables, barbecues and laundry facilities. The pictures give an accurate impression of how much room there is. It’s at most a ten-minute walk to the city entrance, even with our relaxed summer pace. The city is beautiful, and the house had everything we needed and more. I’d recommend it 100 percent. Cedric apparently has another nearby house for up to 12, which I’d look into for a smaller group.
