Anthony was polite and helpful with everything we needed, and even helped fix our car. The property is clean and peaceful, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the castle. We had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend it.

There’s a pool out back that’s cleaned every morning, and it was great after a long day of exploring, wining and dining. The guesthouse is lovely and well kept. Antony and his wife are welcoming and helpful, and the rooms are clean, with a lovely big bed and a shower to die for. 10 out of 10 🙂

Anthony was kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our week in beautiful Carcassonne. He arranged an early check-in, recommended a restaurant, served breakfast early outside the usual time, and advised us about getting to the airport. Our room is clean and spacious, with double sinks and a fantastic shower. There’s also a big fridge in the sitting area for water or a cold beer, which was helpful in 37 degrees heat. I found this guesthouse on Google when my wife and I decided to come here. We’ve been really pleased so far, and left a positive review of the city if Carcassonne and recommended staying in this Guess House .

Anthony, the owner, is energetic and really helpful, and the home is close to the castle. That’s about all I liked. In reality, it’s a home bought by a young family trying to build their B&B business, and a lot of the furnishings feel chosen to save costs: tiles are glued on just one corner of the pool, there’s a huge bottle of cheap liquid soap instead of shampoo and shower gel, and breakfast is very minimal. I saw a pair of seniors take bread from another table because the food was strictly portioned. Parking costs 15 EUR for a greasy garage, and arriving after 20:00 brings a 20 EUR penalty, even though the owner lives about 15 meters from the home. All this is priced like a normal or high class apartment. You can either donate to help this family build their business or choose somewhere else, which I strongly recommend. After I left a poor review, the owners contacted me asking me to change my opinion, as in the photo, instead of cleaning up the mess in the garage. At this time, it’s only 1 of 5 stars.
