Pelletier du Claux

Delf and Fred made our time in Carcassonne beautiful and unforgettable. They were kind, quick to answer questions, and kept us supplied with coffee and any guidance we needed. The apartment itself is romantic, convenient, and extremely comfortable, in a well-maintained 400-year-old building. It's exceptionally clean and fully equipped, with an amazing view of La Cité Médiévale. The Medieval City is within walking distance, and if you book ahead, you can get a parking space inside the building. This was our best experience in France. We highly recommend staying here. 👍

The apartment was immaculate, with a spotless kitchen and shower, and a great blend of modern comforts and decor with the old building's charm. Delphine was a fabulous host, and we felt the personal service from the start: friends recommended the place, and she picked us up at the airport for the ten-minute drive and gave us a warm introduction to our room. The hotel has a lovely setting and overlooks the castle, which is spectacular at night. It's about a ten-minute walk to the old town and castle entrance, with good restaurants just two to three minutes away. The main square in the other part of town is around a 20-minute walk, with nice views over the bridges and bars in the centre. It's a truly charming, delightful place, more like a high-end apartment than a hotel, and it lived up to our friends' recommendation.

Delphine and Fred made the stay feel special from the moment we arrived. They were welcoming and kind, and went out of their way to help us feel at home. We spent four nights here from July 14th, and the studio was perfect: very clean, well equipped, and ideally placed for exploring Carcassonne and reaching everything we needed. We'd gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting. Five huge stars.

Le Pelletier Du Claux is hard to put into words. Delphine and Fred were so kind and went out of their way to welcome us. They drove us to and from the station and bought groceries in advance for our special dietary needs. The building, dating from 1602, is charming and tastefully converted, with antiques throughout. It's on a quaint street beneath the city's ancient walls, yet inside it feels peaceful even though the windows face the street. Our apartment was comfortable and nicely furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen dining area and an attractive shower room with an excellent shower. Delphine also booked restaurants for us and suggested places to visit. We'd love to return, and we'd encourage others to stay.
