I’m jotting down a few highlights before breakfast tomorrow, which I’m looking forward to. The room is big and clean, and the USB charging outlets are better than anywhere else we’ve stayed on this trip. There’s a heated drying rack in the bathroom, plus both a large rain-style shower head and a handheld spray. We even swam in the solar-heated saltwater pool at around ten at night.

We’ve stopped at La Bastide de Nini twice now on the way to our holiday place on the coast, and we’ll come again. The house and its setting are magnificent, the rooms are tastefully decorated, and the hosts are exceptional. We were warmly welcomed, and breakfast was just right, especially the homemade jams.

There’s a huge Provençal nativity scene that’s a real passion of the owner, Ghislaine. Its village has more than 250 figurines, giving the space a gentle, intimate feel. The rest of the stay was lovely too: a warm welcome in a beautiful house, with trees all around and a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was spacious, well equipped, and had a beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with everything we needed to feel comfortable. Bravo, and thank you.

We’d never stayed in a bed and breakfast before, but this first visit went so well that we’d like to return. The view over the vineyards and olive groves is idyllic, and the welcome from Ghislaine and Nini made us feel at home. Well done to them! 👏
