We ended up staying longer than we’d planned because we liked it so much. The plots are roomy and shaded, the shower was great, and the toilet and shower block were clean. Management was helpful and everything seemed well run. Nothing felt like too much trouble.

We liked the calm, clean feel of the campground so much that we added another night. The owners were genuinely welcoming, and there was no “pass sanitaire” requirement. Carcès and even a supermarket are both a pleasant walk away. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back!

The campground has spacious pitches for campers, good sanitary facilities, and very friendly owners. It’s close to the lovely village of Carces, in the Var in southern France. The area works well for walking and cycling, though don’t expect flat routes.

There’s a pool and the sanitary facilities are okay, and the site is beside a cycling route. Still, I wasn’t impressed overall. The woman at reception charged me, as a solo traveler, double. She described it as a “special price,” but to me it felt like a rip-off.
