The food and service were really good, and that terrace looking out over the pool is a lovely place to sit. Stuart and Sheila make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely be back.

We had a wonderfully relaxing few days here. The campsite is clean and well kept, with plenty of privacy between pitches, and the large pool has lots of loungers and parasols. It’s especially peaceful without children shouting in the pool 😉. The owners are dedicated, and dinner by the chateau, with some of the tastiest pizzas, was a treat. Recommended.

The restaurant food is incredible, and there’s plenty to see and do nearby, so it makes a great base. The facilities are super clean, and we loved the swimming pool and tennis court. The owners are fabulous and always happy to help. We camped in our campervan, so I can’t comment on the rooms. This is one of our favorite campsites anywhere; arriving feels like coming home every time. Five stars hardly seems enough.

We knew it was remote when we booked, but Stuart managed to arrange a hire car for three days, which let us visit lots of places. We booked at the last minute and had a great eight-night stay, with a big pitch and a very quiet setting. The facilities are great, and the food is outstanding and great value. It’s the best adults-only site we’ve stayed at in France.

The new pool loungers and parasols are a nice addition, and the large pitches have water and electricity. Bathrooms are clean and there’s hot water, though sometimes I had to press the button several times before it got hot enough. You can order bread the night before. Wi-Fi is only available around the bar and restaurant, and there’s no 3G anywhere on site. That didn’t suit us, though it may not bother everyone. It was especially quiet this week, with the countryside all around, and a great spot for exploring the Dordogne area.
