Carnac Thalasso & Spa Resort Hotel Superior

The breakfasts were excellent. Dinner at the restaurant on the evening of January 1 was just average, and overpriced.

The room was amazing, comfortable, and everything in it was brand new.

We stayed in one of the residences for around 12 days, and the stay itself was okay. Two things really annoyed us. We had asked for the cleaning service and paid an extra 50 euros, but still had to take care of some things ourselves, like stripping the beds. I can understand being expected to do the dishes, but the bed sheets too? The other issue was charging our EV at the hotel's station. Each charge, and they weren't even full, cost us 70 euros, when it's usually under 30 euros and sometimes closer to 20. Apparently the fee is for time parked rather than electricity, but the station is slow, so of course I'd leave the car overnight if I needed it charged. It still wasn't full in the morning. Those extra costs have made us realize we'd never go back.

The complimentary pool access was a welcome perk, with hot and cold pools, water massage features, and bubble baths. Our duplex room was clean and in good condition, but a bit cramped for four beds, so don't expect to spend much time inside. The bathroom was tiny and had a very low ceiling, something tall people should know. It wasn't a deal breaker, just not very enjoyable. The view from the room was nice, though not amazing.
