Hôtel de la Plage Mahogany

Our balcony was huge, and the room felt modern and up to date. If you get an ocean-facing room, the views are gorgeous. The staff were all incredibly sweet, and the bar terrace is spacious and comfortable. The hotel is directly across from the beach and about a 10 minute walk from town. There’s also a beautiful, relaxing pool and spa at the back, though we didn’t use them. I’d definitely stay again if we return to Cassis.

The staff were excellent and so helpful. Everything in the room felt thoughtfully arranged and beautifully appointed. Waking up refreshed in a cozy, comfortable bed with a view of the Mediterranean was wonderful. It felt like heaven on earth, and I’d go back in a moment if it weren’t across the ocean from us.

Clean rooms and a clean hotel, with a nice setting and friendly manager. It’s a walk into town, and with few taxis it wouldn’t suit someone with limited mobility. The rest of the staff seemed a little junior. It’s expensive for a 3 Star, probably because of the location and the limited number of hotels in the area. Rooms on the lower front floors get noisy from deliveries starting at 5am. My biggest complaint was the coffee, just a horrible self-service machine and no proper coffee. Go down to the beach for a decent cup. Still worth a visit.

The staff made our stay, they were so kind and helpful. We loved the room and its views, and the little pool was a nice place to unwind. Hotel De La Plage is right across from the beach, with restaurants nearby and town just a five-minute walk away. Sunday brunch was fantastic too. We had a brilliant time in Cassis.
