We stayed in the upstairs studio, which had what we needed, including a functional kitchen and air conditioning to cool the room at the end of the day. The pool was a nice place to unwind after sightseeing, and private parking behind the gate was handy. The Calanques are very close, while the town is about a 15 minute walk away, with a hilly route. There are three other apartments, but the layout gives each one its own garden or terrace, so you don’t really notice the others. A few things could use maintenance, though nothing seemed out of the ordinary. For the area and price, it was perfectly fine. I don’t think the current rating is fair.

The apartment was on the small side, but that didn’t matter much since we spent most of our time outside. The national park is very close, and a nearby beach is a somewhat longer walk away. A great place to stay.

The location is excellent, but the house was poorly maintained and the amenities felt low quality for the high price. There are serious safety concerns: the pool at this house with four gîtes isn’t properly protected, the hob is cracked all the way along and could short circuit, and there’s no smoke detector. A real shame.

We’ve been coming here for more than 10 wonderful years, and we’re not planning to stop. It’s a peaceful, serene spot between the coves and the city, and feels close to paradise. Thank you to the owner for making such an extraordinary vacation possible. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting France or exploring the country who wants to experience a heavenly place.
