The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location worked well, with a short walk to the port of Cassis and nearby wineries. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, a nice balcony, and a bathroom with a bathtub. The hotel also has a lovely pool.

The reception staff suggested hiking trails, and they turned out to be some of the best I’ve ever walked. They also lent me an electric kettle, which was a nice touch. My only suggestion is to improve the WiFi. My room was spacious, with French doors onto a large balcony set up with chairs, a table, and artificial grass. I had a mountain view and enjoyed relaxing there and eating my meals. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the city center and harbor. I was so happy with my stay that I added another night, and I completely fell in love with Cassis.

We fell in love with Cassis straight away. There are dozens of great snorkeling spots close by, the limestone cliff was wonderful, and the harbor in the village center was lovely. Combined with the hotel, it made for an unforgettable stay, and we’d book again without hesitation. We were there for just 2 nights at the hotel Royal cottage, but it was fantastic. The staff were hospitable throughout, and on arrival the receptionist surprised us by speaking fluent German. They quickly explained the different activities in Cassis and gave us more information about the hotel. Our room was tidy and spacious, with a decent-sized main bathroom. The standout was the huge balcony with its stunning view, along with the enormous outdoor pool. The hotel exceeded our expectations.

The team made this stay special. Everyone was so kind and flexible, and their suggestions for things to do were great. We went to Le Castellet nearby, a real hidden gem. The hotel was spotless and very well cared for, too, in an excellent location. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thanks for making a short visit so memorable.
