We only came for lunch, we weren’t staying overnight. The terrace has a lovely view, and the waitress, who co-owns the place, happily explained the dishes and where the ingredients came from. The other staff were kind and quick, too. My husband ordered the special, a beef stew wrapped in pastry, made with young beef, maybe veal, from a woman-run farm just 2 kilometers away. I had a hamburger with a great bun, tomato, bacon, and sauce. We both tried the local potato and cheese dish with side salad. Every bite was just right, and the local beer was crisp and refreshing. For dessert we shared melon grown nearby. It was the best cantaloupe we’ve ever had, even better than what our families grew when we were kids. Sorry, Grandpa. This was the best meal we’ve had so far, two weeks into our four-week trip in France, and we’ve eaten very well. Highly recommend.

The owners, the cook and his wife, were so friendly. The food is stunning, all homemade, and the view is lovely. Highly recommend 🤩😍
