Hotel Restaurant Le Clos Fleuri

After a long day cycling along the Canal du Midi, it was great to have the pool and jacuzzi. The rooms were clean, modern, and nice, and the restaurant’s cassoulet was excellent. A great little find by the canal.

The food was excellent, and I’d recommend the house wine. The waiters were very kind and polite, and clearly tried their best. I was very satisfied with the hotel and gave it five stars, though there are a few things to know: the rooms are small, with nowhere to open a large suitcase, and the pool area is enclosed by Plexiglas. Even though everything is open over the summer, you can’t go inside to stay there. It’s also in a fairly noisy area near the main road. The older receptionist doesn’t speak English, like most people in France, so communication can be difficult.

The dinner in the restaurant was the highlight of our stay. It was fantastic, delightful, and better than we expected. We also enjoyed the bar and pool, and our room was comfortable with a lovely shower. Every staff member we met was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Thank you!

Dinner was delicious, especially the cassoulet and meat. The bathrooms were fantastic, with really good fittings. The rooms were an okay size, though they had pebble wash.
