Le clos d'André

We spent a wonderful stay here. The setting was peaceful, especially under the veranda looking out onto the garden, and Catherine gave us such a warm welcome. Her cassoulet was delicious. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, and breakfast was very generous. It’s also near the Canal du Midi, where we enjoyed going for walks.

A cozy room with its own bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a generous breakfast made for a lovely stay in Castelnaudry. Our hostess was kind, attentive, and wonderful, and we got to try her delicious cassoulet. Highly recommended.

Breakfast on the veranda was plentiful and a really pleasant start to the day. The welcome was friendly, and Catherine's house is very close to the Canal du Midi, handy for cycling. Our room was quite large, though a little dated.

I haven’t stayed in the gîte or bed and breakfast rooms, and I’m not rating those. The property seems nice, but I found the owner's handling of my booking request unprofessional. I sent the form on the Clos d'André website twice with no reply, then called. The owner reminded me to book through the website; when I said I’d already submitted the form twice, she said she’d check and get back to me. More than a week passed without an answer, so I booked somewhere else. That’s why I’ve given one star.
