The garden is beautiful, with little surprises throughout. Its imaginative layout breaks everything into smaller areas, so you often can't see other visitors and it feels as if you have the place to yourself. The rooms are comfortable, the food is delicious and locally sourced, and the host is welcoming. A lovely overnight stop if you're cycling in the area.

We spent four nights here and really enjoyed it. Our room was lovely, with a large terrace, and breakfast in the main building was a nice experience. We were glad we could chat in English. The huge garden at Domaine Albizia is divided into lots of beautiful little sections that invite you to explore. The owner, Frederique, is a landscape architect who designed and built the gardens. He's also a caring, wonderful host, and nothing seems too much trouble.

A fun, spooky afternoon out with lots for the whole family to enjoy.

So disappointing. We drove two hours on a Saturday to see the garden because Frederic’s own website clearly said it was open Wednesday to Sunday. It was shut, but there was a sign outside telling visitors to ring a number to see the gardens. I called and briefly spoke with Frederic, who said, “No, it is always closed on Saturday, it says so on my website”. It doesn't. I've posted a photo of the webpage on my profile.

The gardens make this an interesting place to visit. The owner is lovely, and breakfast is very good.
