Chambres d'hôtes LA CADANELLAU

Carole and Daniel made us feel so welcome, and the setting was just right, with an irresistible pool and a lovely breakfast. Their kindness and sincere encouragement helped my daughter face her ordeal more calmly. Thank you for that peaceful night, the comforting words, the smiles, and all the care. The house is beautiful and surrounded by lovely nature, a wonderful place to get away.

Our stay ended early because we felt uncomfortable. We wouldn’t recommend this place to families with young children, though others may feel right at home with the lovely pool and garden. That was a shame, especially since the reviews had led us to expect a welcoming, friendly place for a family vacation. At first, everything felt very warm: there was a bed for our young son, a high chair for the baby, and the hosts gave us useful advice and friendly service. But when our four-year-old, who can be a bit boisterous, spoke too loudly at the pool, or when the baby needed a bottle at 7:30 in the morning, we felt we were disturbing the peace and weren’t welcome to relax. Being scolded for wanting to heat the bottle was disconcerting and unpleasant, especially after we hadn’t slept all night.

We’d be happy to come back. The hosts were warm and attentive, even the house dog seemed glad to meet us ;) Breakfast was excellent, and our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and stocked with everything guests needed. Booking just the day before was no problem, and on arrival they showed us to the room and invited us to enjoy the lovely pool. Thanks for the hospitality. Delphine and Dimitri

We’ll gladly come back to enjoy this peaceful place. The owners were very welcoming and attentive, while remaining discreet. Breakfast was varied and plentiful every day, and the room, house, pool, and grounds were all excellent.
