The bar was a nice spot to sit with a drink and work on the crossword. It’s a small hotel in a great position for exploring the town and nearby hiking, and breakfast was good. Feel free to ask if you’d like different options.

We had plenty of room to spread out and dry our hiking gear after getting caught in the rain. We were lucky to have a room with windows on two sides, which made it especially pretty. The decor feels dated, but has a lot of mountain charm. It’s a lovely little place right in the town center, and the staff were so warm and friendly. I’d recommend it.

Right in the heart of Cauterets, this cute retro hotel was friendly and helpful. We only stayed a night before setting off to hike, and wished we could have stayed longer.

Nicholas was an incredible host and deserves a special mention. The staff were all lovely and friendly, and gave us plenty of helpful suggestions for hikes and places to eat.

Three men tried to force the toilet door open just because someone really needed to use it. We had offered to pay. If guests aren't allowed to use the toilet, please just say so politely next time. There was no need to open the door when someone had just gone in 🙂 🤯
