The knowledgeable owner gave us lots of help with the mountain trails, and the hotel is near some great hiking. They were also kind enough to drive us to where we’d parked our car. Breakfast was good too. We highly recommend a stay here if you’re ever in Cauterets.

We stayed for three nights in this quiet, well located family hotel, and the welcome was exceptional as always. The whole family was so kind and took time to chat with us, which made the stay really pleasant. Our room was spacious and very clean. Thank you to Violette and Sébastien, and especially Philippe for the fantastic homemade marble cake. We’ll be back very soon.

The room for three was cramped, with very little space and very dated decor, and breakfast wasn’t good value. The owner's welcome was cold and curt. When we asked if we could possibly leave a night early because our daughter was sick, he spoke to us as if we were 12. A polite “no” would have been enough. I booked without much hesitation because of the positive reviews, but the stay was a real disappointment. At least the weather was nice and the snow was fresh. We don’t recommend this hotel.
