The only real conveniences were the working air conditioning and parking in the hotel courtyard. My ground-floor room had a pleasant terrace, but the busy road outside brought a lot of noise. The hotel needs renovation, and the place was very dirty. Wallpaper in both the room and bathroom was stained and coming loose. The bathroom was hard to air out through its small window; the faucet area was grimy, and the tap was too short for the large sink. Cleaning only happened if requested, and even then they just removed the rubbish and brought fresh towels. There was no large mirror or hair dryer. A small fridge kept things cold, but it was rusty. The internet was extremely weak, and the little TV depended on it. Getting to the channels was complicated enough to require IT skills, assuming the connection worked. Reception spoke only French. I paid €137 a night.

The staff were so friendly, and the rooms had plenty of space and a mini-fridge. We spent two nights here, right across from the sea. The road noise and thin walls made it a little loud at times, though. I'd come back.

We found the price very reasonable for a place so close to the sea, practically on the doorstep. Reception and breakfast service were excellent, and we had a lovely weekend here. A few things in the room could be better. I missed having a hairdryer and somewhere to hang beach towels, and the veranda blind didn't come all the way down. I'd ask for a room on the side away from the gas station and car wash. The station was very loud at night, almost like a drill in the room, and we woke whenever someone washed a car. That's not the owners' fault, but it's useful to know.
