Château Bellevue

I had a great time at the château, and the staff were very professional. I enjoyed the food, though it may be a little too French for British tastes that aren't used to much. It was an adventure, but I wouldn't come back. In the UK, health and safety would have shut this place down. There's no second way out, the central spiral staircase doesn't meet spec, and although the lift works well, it's small and not suitable for larger people.

We spent the day here for a family birthday, and it was amazing from start to finish. We enjoyed delicious food, lovely wines, a shiatsu massage, a swim in the outdoor pool, then drinks and a game of billiards. The birthday guest is a highly regarded chef and considers Chateau Bellview his favorite restaurant and spa. I completely agree. It's a stunning place, with fabulous food and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend this beautiful spot in the heart of Gers.

We've eaten here several times and have always been warmly welcomed. The food is hard to fault, the wine list is broad, and the advice on what to choose is great. It's a beautiful Gers manor, a cozy place for a meal, with service that's better than average. I haven't stayed at the hotel, but do give the restaurant a try. You won't regret it.

We had a fantastic time. The staff, food, and service were all extraordinary.
