Breakfast was a treat: artisan breads, an amazing selection of homemade jams, and excellent coffee in generous supply. Since it was warm, we ate outside under the marquee, though there’s also a proper dining room. The French owners were caring and chatted easily in English. The first thing I noticed about the room, and really the whole place, was how clean everything was. The real wood furniture and tiled floors kept things cool, and opening the shutters let in a lovely breeze. The en suite had a very powerful shower, just the thing to wash away the day’s stress or wake you up feeling fresh. The property is just outside Cazouls les Beziers, easy to find despite being just off the main highway. Large, ornate wrought iron gates make it feel secure, and there’s a key for after-hours access. Parking is on the grounds, with plenty of space for around 20+ cars. The current owner built/restored the property, and the care shows everywhere. There’s a landscaped garden, fig trees, several chickens and a fish pond. We couldn’t fault our stay and would happily recommend it. We’d go again!
