The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and this is a good budget option close to Mont Saint Michel. It was clean, too. That said, the hotel felt worn, and our room did as well. The walls are so thin you can hear a neighbor breathing. The wooden window didn't close all the way and had no blinds or curtains, which made the summer nights short. If saving money is your priority, it's welcoming and worth considering. If you want more comfort or luxury, you may want somewhere else.

Breakfast was excellent, especially the cooked-to-order eggs, which were just right at medium soft-boiled. The bean-to-cup machine also makes a wide choice of good drinks. Our room was comfortable and very quiet, and we were looked after superbly. We loved staying at Hotel Les Montois and would choose it again if we’re lucky enough to return to the area. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

We had a really nice stay and would happily come back. The hotel is in a pleasant rural spot and is run by a husband-and-wife team who are friendly and helpful. Their English is excellent, which made things much easier for me as a non-French speaker. It would work well as a base for exploring Normandie/Bretagne, or as a stop on the way somewhere else.

We only stayed one night, but it was great. The owner was really friendly, and the room would be perfect for a couple of nights while exploring Mont Saint Mitchel. I’d recommend it.
