There’s storage for bicycles, and the Avenue Verte cycling route is nearby. This lovely bed and breakfast has a beautiful room and dining hall in a renovated barn, furnished with artisan-made pieces. The welcoming host served a great breakfast.

The domaine is in very good condition, and a charming couple run it in a way that makes you feel right at home. A calm, lovely getaway from Paris. Highly recommended.

A peaceful spot on the outskirts of Paris, where you can enjoy the countryside and very comfortable premises. Breakfast is abundant, and you can get to central Paris in 40min by public transport. Highly recommended.

This BnB is a gem. I’d give it 11 out of 11! The main house is a beautifully refurbished 20th century barn, une grange, with three rooms for rent. There’s also a separate cottage in the garden that you can rent on their website. The enormous garden is well cared for, with century tall chestnut, maple, and pine trees. The owner, Luc, is a wood craftsman, artisan ébéniste, and you can see his character in the wooden fixtures, lanterns, and decorations. I loved those touches. The main building was renovated 4 years ago, keeping its apparent stone and wooden beams, poutres, while adding the comfort of modern lodging and high-quality showers and fixtures. Our small room, Dorique, was comfortable, with a double bed on the floor, a mezzanine with a single bed, and a reading corner. There’s no TV, so it’s a place to enjoy the quiet and calm. The corridor, though, has plenty of clocks! The majestic dining room has a small sofa and a table for 8. Food and drinks are only allowed in the dining room or garden, not in the rooms. Breakfast is shared with the other guests, so be ready to chat. In the evening, you can use the dining room for complimentary tea. Breakfast was filling: along with the usual French hot drink, bread, viennoiserie, and often homemade confiture, Luc added yogurts, fresh fruit, and homemade apple juice. It’s a good location for a weekend away. A 5-minute walk takes you to a sport base, Ile-de-loisirs, with paid outdoor activities including canoeing, acrobranch, bike rental, and kids attractions. There’s also a nice little park beside the Oise river and a lake. Cergy village and port are 10 min away, with restaurants and a small Casino supermarket. You can get here without a car: take the RER A to Cergy Prefecture, about 1 hour from Paris, then walk 30 min. And the MOST IMPORTANT part, it’s reasonably priced, especially for several nights, for a room for 3 including breakfast. Check-in is around 3pm and check-out at 11am. During our warm april weekend, we got to use the swimming pool, 6x12m, and the lounge chairs. The pool usually opens mai-sept. Fans of the popular French series “Mystères de l'amour” may also like that some scenes were filmed in the pavilion of the Domaine. Thanks for the warm welcome, Maryse and Luc!

The pool view from our room was lovely, and the port was only a 10-minute walk away. Domaine de Mona is a beautiful, peaceful place, just right for unwinding. The owner was always smiling and available, which made our wonderful weekend even better. We’d happily recommend a weekend here.
