There are restaurants, a supermarket, and a petrol station close by, and the location worked well for us. The room and beds were good for what we paid, but both our room and the hotel needed a proper clean. The downstairs area smelled like rubbish.

The staff were helpful and really good at first, but I started feeling itchy on the first night and had no idea why. On our last day I realised there were lots of mites in the bed. Ibis needs to deal with this. I’ve since seen that people have been reporting cleaning problems there for a long time.

The corridors had a really awful smell, though I couldn't tell what it was. Trying to book that night was a nightmare too. Nobody was available after 9, and the booking computer kept crashing, so it took ages to get a reservation. I wouldn’t stay again.

The rooms are a bit smaller than at other Ibis hotels, but this typical Ibis Budget place does the job. We often look for Ibis when travelling because, as at most of their locations, dogs are welcome.

We arrived around midnight, after reception had closed, and some staff came to help us check in. I felt bad about waking them. The Ibis team were really good, the rooms were clean, and checking out was simple. It wasn’t expensive either. We were glad to stay there, thanks to the team.
