8/10
The two things that let this place down were the bugs and the breakfast. Woodlice and centipedes were in the rooms and corridors, and seemed to be ignored. The morning-shift colleague was left on his own and clearly under a lot of pressure, so he couldn’t keep the full breakfast selection available for the whole breakfast period. Otherwise, the hotel is well located, clean, and has cosy, quiet rooms. For the region, the price is very good.

The scrambled eggs were a lovely treat, and they weren’t overcooked. Breakfast was nice, the room was clean and comfortable, and the welcome was friendly. I started the next day feeling recharged.

The room was quite small, and the shower water was only lukewarm, nowhere near hot enough. Reception was slow, the staff’s English was poor, and there was no vending machine for drinks or snacks.

There’s a nice restaurant nearby, and the hotel itself is a decent place to stay. I would’ve liked a coffee mug and a few other extras in the room, but they weren’t there. Still, it’s a good spot and hard to go wrong with it.

We used this Ibis as a base for exploring the region and had a good stay. The reception area and our room were modernised and comfortable, and it was easy to reach from the highway. There’s plenty of parking, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
