A lovely little hotel in a great location, with cozy, comfortable rooms that are nicely decorated. The staff were super friendly.

The waterfall from the canal underneath the building was one of my favorite things here. We opened the windows in our third-floor room and fell asleep to its sound, despite earlier reviews saying it bothered them. The second-floor lobby also has views of the grand cru vineyards. It’s a great hotel right in the center, and I’d book dinner at their restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

Check-in was easy: they give you a code for the main door and reception, with your room key waiting there so you can let yourself in whenever you like. There’s also a self-service open bar where you can pick up a bottle of Laroche wine to enjoy in your room or on the beautiful terrace overlooking the hill of Grand Crus. The hotel is a remodeled mill, rustic but lavish, with large rooms and scenic views. We were lucky to stay directly over the waterfall, which made for a very peaceful night. It’s centrally located in Chablis, with restaurants and wine tasting rooms just a short walk away.

We got in too late to enjoy Zinc, but this was still a wonderful, peaceful place to stay. The room was lovely, the welcome was warm, and breakfast was lush. It’s right in the center of Chablis, with anywhere in town easy to reach on foot. We’ll come again.

We came with friends for a long weekend in mid July 2023, to taste wine and explore the surrounding area. It’s a very nice place to stay, with pleasant rooms, comfortable beds, and a good breakfast. Everything is close by, especially the lovely terrace of Marguerite de Chablis.
