If you sleep lightly, be warned: the walls are so thin I could hear the people next door open a bag of crisps. The window doesn’t block much sound either, so you can hear local gossip from young people hanging around in the parking lot outside, beside residential apartment blocks. For a budget hotel, that’s a big drawback, so I gave it a 3, and I might have gone down to 2 if I’d been woken up too many times. The shower pushed me to a 2. The old, rusty setup has poor temperature control, and the curtain is too small and sticks to you, so water ends up all over the bathroom. There were two of us but we got only one large towel and one hand towel. No floor towel, so wet feet.

The breakfast was nice and it was mostly quiet. They did make our beds when we came back, which was nice. But the smell in the rooms was awful. We left the bathroom window and door open all day, and it still stank when we got back. They said they’d fix the air conditioning, but didn’t. The shower felt like needles on my skin, too. I heard the security guy was rude to other guests, though I didn’t see that myself. It was kind of okay, I guess, but that smell, omg.

Simple, clean rooms and a basic breakfast, and the price was fine. It’s affordable and close to the motorway, in a very quiet area, with restaurants like Buffalo Grill within walking distance. We stayed overnight on the drive from our home in Southern France to my family’s area in Eastern Germany, and it worked well for that.

The price matched the quality, and the people at reception were nice. A decent place for a night’s stop while travelling, with plenty of parking. The rooms are okay and each has its own bathroom.

The woman at check-in was really nice and helpful. The hotel itself is very basic, with tiny rooms that fit a bed and a small bathroom, and the air conditioning is rubbish. Breakfast was basic too. Still, it’s convenient if you just need somewhere to stay overnight while travelling.
