We sat in the inner dining room and enjoyed the atmosphere. On a very rainy day the restaurant was quiet, and nicely arranged, with lots of heavy glass pieces set against traditional wooden panels. The lady serving us was prompt and efficient. Everything we ordered tasted good, though it all felt quite heavy to us. The Grand Cru snails came baked in a pastry parcel, a first for us. The scallop dish turned out to be a whole seafood spread, which surprised us. The Pear Illusion was fun to eat, and clearly wasn't an actual whole pear. We noticed what looked like party decorations in the courtyard, perhaps for a wedding or corporate event.

The sauces really brought the chef's food to life, making for a flavor-packed lunch. Frog legs were a great way to start, and both the seafood and fish mains were beautifully plated and even better to eat. Service was good. The dessert could use more work to become crème de la crème. Prices felt well balanced, and this is a restaurant I'd recommend visiting in the region.

We were a group of about 40x people with a set menu. The service and atmosphere were pretty good, but I wasn't impressed by the dishes. Maybe I don't know the Champagne region's food well enough, but none of the items felt particularly exciting. They looked better than they tasted. I'd give it 6/10.
