There’s plenty of free parking, and the view is hard to beat. The garden’s deck chairs and tables add to the charm. Inside, the breakfast room and lounge feel like a mountaineering museum, and breakfast is homemade. It’s a lovely place to stay, run by a very helpful, accommodating lady who speaks some English. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Michelle was so lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean and cosy, with amazing views around the accommodation. It’s about a 15-minute walk to town.

We stayed for almost a week on our Chamonix trip, and the owner helped us a lot throughout. She was very accommodating. The wooden chalet feels beautiful and cosy inside, especially with the snow covering everything outside. It’s a little far from the city centre, but there’s bus service from Chamonix city centre. It was one of the more affordable options during a busy travel period. We had a lovely breakfast one morning.

A great deal for the money, and a simple way to enjoy the old communal spirit of mountaineering without fuss or glamour. The host was welcoming and helpful, and the B&B is well located. Breakfast comes in a cute little room decorated with artifacts from the old Alpine days. The rooms are tiny, but clean and functional. There’s no WiFi on the premises.
