Lovely hosts and amazing food.

The rooms were great, and the hotel itself was very nice. We got a very friendly welcome, but noise was a downside: conversations and sounds from the lounges downstairs came through clearly to our first-floor room, probably because the wooden floors are so thin. Breakfast was okay, though running out of milk felt avoidable when the hotel knows how many guests to expect. Those were the only negatives for me.

We had spacious rooms and a comfortable terrace, and the wine selection was excellent. The owner is very helpful, knows the area well, and is glad to suggest cycling and walking routes. You can also order a menu on site, and the care put into the cooking and food really shows. An excellent B&B, highly recommended.

The owners are pleasant and it's a beautiful place, but the rooms are poorly soundproofed. Lounge noise carries loudly into them late into the evening, and the stairs and floors creak. There is very little storage, too little for a week, and breakfast is minimalist.
