Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa

The property felt like it belonged in a storybook, and it was such a peaceful place for a special getaway. Our room, the food, spa, service, attention to detail, sparkle, and holiday decorations were all wonderful. The staff made us feel taken care of from the time we booked. A special thank you to Tanja and Lucille. We had an amazing three-day stay at Royal Champagne Hotel, and we're sure to return.

We traveled through Burgundy and Champagne in October with another couple, and The Royal Champagne Hotel was the highlight of the trip. We often stay in five-star hotels, so we came with high expectations, and this place surpassed them. The welcome and check-in were warm, our room was luxurious with a lovely view, and there were plenty of unexpected amenities and surprises. The spa was lovely, the bartender was great, the front desk team was helpful, and the valets were excellent. Breakfast was slow on the first morning: our poached eggs took 30 minutes, and we had to ask several times for drinks. On the next two days, breakfast was well organized and the staff were friendly. Our final-night restaurant meal was fabulous, with a wonderful waiter and sommelier. I highly recommend the hotel and hope to return.

Our room was bright and spacious, and we found the breakfast menu and service perfect. There was also a VIP amenity in the room with a personalized note. Every staff member paid close attention to the details, from our arrival through departure. One of the best hotel stays we've had, and the #1 hotel in the champagne region!

The food was delicious throughout, from the excellent breakfast, with set or à la carte options, to room service, which was restaurant quality both times we ordered. The lobster pasta with caviar was especially amazing. The view, bar, and spa were lovely, and the outdoor pool was incredible. The rooms were spacious and modern, and the hotel left us a sweet gift. It's in a great location, too. I'll be back soon and spend a couple of days recording.
