The rooms were clean and comfortable, and getting inside them was straightforward once we arrived. Finding the hotel in the dark was harder, since it's in an unlit industrial area with no signs. The staff were friendly the next morning, and breakfast was very good.

The good news is they're refurbishing in September. As it is now, this is very budget accommodation, and the rooms feel old and worn, with dirty, stained patches. It's about 20 years old, after all. The bathroom smelled of awful sewage, and the room had a musty smell. In my opinion, it's worse than a hostel.

The mattress was the saving grace, along with the staff. The room felt sad and neglected, with more wear than you'd want to see. The bathroom was so cramped that even brushing my teeth took some maneuvering to avoid hitting my elbows on the wall. There are much better Ibis Budget hotels around, and this one feels left behind.

The location right by the ring road is convenient, but we wouldn't return. We stay in budget hotels and don't mind them, but this one was overpriced for what it offered. We also had to switch rooms because the bathroom wasn't clean.

We arrived late and the check-in kiosk wasn't working. This has happened to me with ibis budget before. Luckily, someone was there to check us in.
