La Picolina

There are walking trails right nearby, and the host was so welcoming. The cottage itself is huge and has a big garden that works well for activities like table tennis, pétanque, and volleyball. It's in a really quiet spot, too.

It’s tucked away somewhere peaceful, though Sunday shopping is quite a drive. There might be an extra charge for bed linen depending on the size. With multiple injuries, this place wouldn’t be suitable.

The view of the Chaîne des Puys is superb, and the setting is wonderfully quiet. We had everything we needed for being together as a group, from the kitchen and terraces to bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The decor felt like coming home to family, and there’s even a piano.

We spent a family weekend at La Picolina gîte to celebrate our parents’ 80th birthdays. The bedrooms each have private bathrooms, and the whole place feels spacious and relaxing, with not a sound around. There’s a proper foosball table, a piano, and a lovely view, too. Christine welcomed us so warmly, and the accommodation is magnificent. We had nothing to complain about. Thanks for everything, Christine. Philippe.
