At 10 pm, I was left without anywhere to stay after the owners refused to let me check in. I was an hour behind their check-in time because of long-weekend traffic, after driving 500 km on my own. I explained what had happened and apologized for the unexpected delay, but there was no understanding at all.

The vineyard views were spectacular, and the air conditioning in our lovely room was much appreciated. Our hosts welcomed us warmly and served such delicious food. An amazing place to stay, and we'd highly recommend it.

The owners are lovely and clearly passionate about the region. They know all the best spots, and Edwige makes delicious meals at home. We especially enjoyed the delightful summer garden and the clean, tastefully decorated rooms, which felt spacious too. Such a warm welcome at La Maison des Vignes, I highly recommend it.
