It’s like sleeping in a refrigerator. I called for help, but they didn’t understand a word and didn’t seem interested in helping. The guy at reception earlier that day was nice, though, and spoke English.

The price-quality balance is unbeatable, and parking costs 15€ per day. There’s a shopping center next door, Bercy 2, with some neighborhood restaurants. The hotel is nice and clean, but it’s fairly far from the city center. Public transport always involves a change, and the metro and bus take 30-45 minutes. The renovated rooms are on the fourth floor, facing either the street or the inner court. The bathroom and towels were really clean, and there was shower gel, hand soap, and shampoo in the same container. Breakfast looked good, but didn’t tempt us. There are much better options in Paris for just a little more money. We didn’t like the mattress. It gave us back pain, or at least didn’t help us recover after a long day of walking.

Carrefour is right next door, and bus 24 from the Pantheon stops directly outside. The hotel is clean and tidy, the service is good, and the staff are friendly. They shouldn’t charge for leaving luggage, though.
