I liked how peaceful the place felt, and the rooms were spotless and very well cared for. In the shared room, there are sofas, a kitchen and TV, plus a big bay window looking out at nature and the owners' horses running past. Walking paths also cross the fields and woods on the property. The welcome was warm. The bed was a little firm, and I could hear some noise through the wall between rooms.

We woke up to horses, greenery and the river, which made this a lovely spot for a family break and a chance to recharge. The Charleval B&B is quiet and rural, and the owners made us feel right at home. I'd book again without hesitation.

I was working nearby for a week and found the room comfortable, with a very warm welcome. Breakfast was great. My only gripe is that you can't pay by card.

The valley is gorgeous, and the owners are very welcoming. It's a lovely rural setting, with horses and stables. You can chat about horse shows or fox hunting, and you can even bring your own horse! 😀

A really satisfying country stop. The room was tastefully furnished and very clean, and the welcome was friendly. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and the price felt fair for the service.
