La Ferme De Saint Julien

Despite the kind touches in the large, clean room, such as tissues, the bathroom was disappointing. The fancy tub only had a handheld shower with a weak trickle, the toilet had no seat, and the macerating toilet was noisy. The yard and reception room were in unbelievable disarray. The photos and name make a flattering impression, but the place itself doesn't live up to them. It's far from the city center in an unattractive neighborhood, and the general feel was of makeshift repairs, questionable decor, and hosts just trying to make ends meet. Three days earlier, I'd paid the same price to stay in a château in a bucolic setting with a wonderful breakfast.

The rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We got a very warm welcome from the owners, both over the phone and in person. We also had a good dinner and a great atmosphere at your restaurant, Le Garage. We'll definitely be back!

A warm welcome in an authentic place, with a really comfortable bed. The restaurant is worth a visit too!

The owners gave us a warm welcome, and the peaceful, charming place was ideal for our family with a young child. They'd thought of lots of ways to make it kid-friendly, including many of their own children's toys, which delighted our little one. The clean, spacious room had all the comforts we needed, and the small, secure garden was great for safe play. A big thank you to our hosts!
