The owner was very friendly, though she spoke only French. The property is a beautiful, quiet, large old house on the edge of the village, with lovely open views and parking right in front. Our room was clean but very basic, somewhat run-down and neglected, despite the property's potential. We were fortunate to have the small shared bathroom to ourselves. The double bed was very narrow and, at just under 2 meters, a little too short. The cramped shower was tiny, with no curtain or ventilation. Breakfast was meager: coffee from a pot, day-old baguette, two kinds of jam, and a small piece of butter. The extra 9 euros per person was definitely too much. Overall, everything felt very basic.

The countryside was wonderfully peaceful. We had a simple, large room with a 19th-century style, and it was very comfortable. The welcome was pleasant, the bathroom was large and modern, and there was a small dining room for breakfast. Highly recommended.
