The rooms were cozy and very clean, and we got an incredible night's rest. Dinner and breakfast were both extraordinary, with quality that really stood out. The whole team was so friendly and attentive, they made us feel at home during our stop on the way to Brussels. A 10 out of 10, easily the best hotel I've stayed at in France. We'll definitely be back.

Charolles was a bit out of our way, but we're so glad we made the trip. It's a small village with wonderful people, and we'll be back. We had a wonderful night at Maison Doucet, with our best meal of the trip by far. The Chef is an artistic and culinary treasure, backed by an amazing team, especially the sommelier. We loved the hotel too. The staff were so helpful, particularly Xiaoran at the head of reception.

We first stayed at Maison Doucet in 2022 and already thought it was very, very good. This time it felt like it had reached another level, with exceptional cuisine and seamless service.
