Maison Du Prince De Conde

Dinner was offered for 28 euros and was delicious. Breakfast was just as impressive, with homemade yogurt, crêpes, eggs, apple tarts, ham, cheese, bread, and homemade jam. We stayed in the tower room, set inside part of the old city defense gate built in the 13th century. It had two floors, an iron bed, a sitting area, a fridge, and a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi, candles, music, and bath oils. It was also lovely getting to know Véronique and Christophe. Highly recommended.

I stayed here for a week in Charroux and really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed and good quality linen. Breakfast came with fruit salad, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, bread, jams, and fresh croissants. The landlady's almond cake and other cakes are worth trying, and the coffee was excellent. The rooms are all pretty, so I don't think you can go wrong.

The food was delicious and the place is beautiful. Christophe and Veronique are such lovely people. Quality is 100%.

We stayed here in mid April 2024, and it was one of the best stops we've had in 30 years of travelling through France and Spain. The B&B was full of character and spotless, and Veronique and Christophe did everything they could to make our visit perfect. The weather was awful, but when they couldn't explain where St Sebastien Restaurant was, they walked us through the rain with umbrellas they provided. Breakfast was fabulous too. A 10 out of 10 from all of us.
