We had the ground floor of the big house, with a huge bedroom, a nice bathroom and a massive shower, plus our own large kitchen and patio. It's a very friendly place and well suited to a few days' stay. My wife did notice a musty smell, possibly from the mill below, though I thought the place was fantastic. The hosts mentioned that booking directly is cheaper than using one of the big travel sites.

We came for a Yoga brunch a year ago and had such a good time. As a yoga teacher, I loved being able to relax, practice beside my husband, and just be a student while someone else led the class. Lucy was a good teacher, and the homemade food at brunch was delicious too.

Chris was friendly and very accommodating, and the atmosphere was so beautiful and tranquil. The food was amazing, all home cooked with produce they grow themselves, and you could really taste the quality. The menu was an interesting change from typical French food, with options for vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters. Highly recommended.

We had a very pleasant week here with our three children, aged 2, 5, and 7, from 11-18 August. It's an old watermill converted into a gîte, very classic and old-fashioned, but cosy. The house is spacious, with two bathrooms, though we didn't use the first floor. The large property has a swimming pool and a big shed with games where the kids could play, and there's also a smaller gîte that tourists often book briefly on their way home. Chickens roam around naturally and even come by asking for food. This is run by a British couple who also speak French, so communication was easy. At night you can hear running water around and under the house. Thanks to Chris, his wife, and their lovely daughter. Greetings from Holland!

Our host was charming and welcoming, and there was a lovely big garden with a spot to stroll by the river. The space was small to medium in size but had everything we needed. I highly recommend this listing.
