The owner was super nice, and there’s a gorgeous wooden chapel at the back. It’s falling apart, though, and with that artistic value it should be under state protection. The building itself is old and full of character but run down. My room was clean, but it needs an upgrade to justify the price. Breakfast was basic: coffee, one croissant, bread, ham, and whole fruit like apples and oranges. The internet wasn’t working either.

Dinner was French style, and we both really enjoyed it with the other visitors. The room was cozy and peaceful, and we had no trouble getting there with Google navigation. The building goes back to the 12th century, as the super friendly host explained. We had a very good stay and would love to come back with friends in summer!

A welcoming chateau, tucked away in lovely countryside. It’s a good place to get away, and the nearby villages are traditional. The rooms are clean and modern while still keeping that traditional French feel. I’d stay again.

The place had a wonderful vibe, and the view helped us properly switch off for the whole weekend. My boyfriend and I used a Smartbox someone had given us, and we’d asked from the start if our pet rabbit could come along. The owner said the rabbit was more than welcome because he loves animals. The staff were really friendly and helpful too.

Don’t expect five-star service, but if you’re an individualist, it’s well worth a stopover. They serve regional food, though you need to book ahead.
