greet Chartres Est

The room felt really cramped. It’s listed as 14qm, but the dark blue walls make it seem even smaller, and the bathroom takes up a big chunk of that space. Breakfast was basic too.

A handy stop on a long drive through France, and good value. The room was clean and had what we needed to be comfortable, and breakfast was good as well. There isn’t much nearby. The Tesla supercharger was only a few minutes away, which suited us, and we could only find a Burger King open for food. That worked well enough.

For just a night or two, this budget hotel is okay, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer. We were there for two nights, and with three people the room felt cramped, with hardly any space for bags or clothes. There was a lingering cigarette smell, noticeable but not overwhelming. The bathroom wasn’t great either. It has no ventilation, so steam builds up and makes the room very hot. Breakfast was okay, though nothing special. Just an average three-star place.

Breakfast was a mess. Almost all the food and drinks were gone, and nobody explained what was happening. With a set number of guests booked in, they should be able to replenish things normally instead of making people wait half an hour. Check-in was just as disorganized. Staff seemed to be scrambling without proper training or ownership, and after 15 minutes I was checked in, but they still had the rooms wrong. The beds were uncomfortable too. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
