The separate toilet has no sink, though that seems typical. Otherwise, a very good hotel, and I’d happily come back. The rooms were larger than the French average, the beds and bedding were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Our standard room was perfectly fine, with a lovely bathtub for a long soak. There was free parking out front, and it stayed quiet and dark at night.
10/10
A cozy, comfortable room and a warm welcome from helpful, friendly staff. Just right for an overnight stop on our drive through France with our dog.
6/10
For a single night, it did the job: the place was clean and the staff friendly. The pool photo gives a slightly misleading impression, and the surrounding area felt run-down. There were plenty of places to eat within easy reach, which was what we needed.
2/10
The air conditioning wasn’t running during hot weather, and when we said we hadn’t slept well because of the heat, the reply was that it would only get worse when it got hotter. There was a bath but no shower, and the bed was much too soft. The place is shabby and run-down. It’s apparently no longer an Akena hotel, though no one seemed to know that. It belongs to the " Originals" accommodation group, but didn’t resemble the other places we’ve stayed in that group. I wouldn’t recommend it.
8/10
The rooms could use an update, but they were clean. The staff service was amazing.
