That rat by the pool was the biggest worry, though I hope it wasn't getting into the kitchen. We also had flies around the breakfast bread, the bed slid across the floor when I tried to sit on it, and the bathroom bin had no lid. With a dog along, that last detail felt less hygienic, especially for women. The air conditioning kept the room comfortable, but the heating didn't get it as warm as I like, which is just personal preference. Still, Alteora was good value: €69 for a double room in mid-January 2026, plus €10 for our dog and about €12 each for breakfast. The room was clean and newly renovated, and the shower stayed hot. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Most staff were nice enough, though the receptionist seemed a little indifferent. The bar attendant was lovely, bringing honey for my sore throat and making me a generous tea for €2.70. Parking is free on site, with electric charging points that probably cost extra. The dog fee seemed reasonable. Breakfast was decent, and the seasonal pool and games room could be handy for families or anyone wanting something to do. A practical place with the basics covered for a fair price, and I'd recommend it to travelers looking for good quality without spending too much.

Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere made this a decent place for a quick night while traveling. The parking lot is large, and the hotel is handy for an overnight stop. The rooms are basic, with no fridge, kettle, or safe. Cleaning was okay, though there was dust under the bed and on other surfaces that didn't look regularly cleaned. Some top-floor rooms can be noisy, and the heating unit itself is quite loud. The twin beds are hard, fine for one night but uncomfortable for longer. We skipped the hotel restaurant because its reviews were poor, but Hyoto Japanese restaurant nearby is a must.

Friendly staff, a clean room, and a comfy bed made for a good stop. The price was good, and the decorated reception area looked nice. There's a large car park, easy motorway access, and it's a handy place to stay if you're planning a visit to Futuroscope Park.

Be careful with these guys. On the phone they tell you one price, then when you arrive they charge more and say it was a mistake. Watch out!

The lights kept going out for a moment now and then, and there was a loud, constant sound like running water. We left the lights alone and went into "cinema" mode for the evening, while the air conditioning masked most of the noise. Small issues, and I expect they'll be fixed once the renovation is finished. We were surprised by the size of the place. It's on a very large, tree-lined avenue in a modern business park, much bigger than the smaller Originals properties we've stayed at before. We were passing through on our way south, and we like the brand, having stayed in a range of its unique hotels. As usual, the welcome was warm, friendly, and personal. Our room had just been redone. There was construction work going on, but we didn't hear any excessive noise. It was spacious, with the usual amenities, a large, very comfortable bed, good bedding, and everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was a plentiful, tasty continental spread, well presented, with good coffee. It was a nice start to the day.
