The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and the house has lovely vintage character. It’s in a quiet rural spot. The rooms are simple and keep the rustic farmhouse feel. There’s no minibar or elevator, but that’s part of the charm. A lovely choice if you want a peaceful, authentic stay.

The pool was perfect, the setting beautiful, the location fantastic, and our dog was welcome. It’s also very remote, so you have to drive to shop, eat, or get coffee. Breakfast was the same for all 14 days: one slice each of salami, ham, and cheese. The croissants came from a supermarket 10-pack. The other options, like fruit, Nutella, or jam, were all sweet. If you didn’t want sweet food, you were left with those same three cold cuts every morning. The coffee was very weak. There was no washing machine, kitchen access, or refrigerator. That’s a real inconvenience with children, or if you just want a cold drink. Basically, you’re renting a room with access to the pool and garden. Once the hostess offered our son an ice cream, then charged us €5 for it. We were speechless. Very disappointing!!!

Eaven and Jaqui were both very, very nice and gave us a warm welcome. We slept like royalty in a historic bed, in wonderful peace and quiet. The pool was great, and I even got to practise my English!
