Breakfast was a treat in the orangery, surrounded by tropical plants and pretty china tea sets. We had homemade preserves and delicious bread, plus poached pears with mint picked from the garden. You can have lunch in the garden or cool off in the lovely pool. The welcome is warm and friendly, and the place has a lot of French charm and style. Parfait!

The garden around the converted monastery is beautiful, and our room felt straight out of a romantic 19th-century film. We were the only guests and felt completely at ease. The owners were incredibly kind and did everything they could to make things work for us. Breakfast was prepared with so much care and tailored to our preferences. If you find yourself out in the middle of nowhere, stay here. Gorgeous place, fantastic style.

The owner was so kind and welcoming, and the stay felt like a special mix of medieval character and modern comfort. It’s a lovely way to get away from the stress and chaos of the city. A unique experience, and one I’d recommend to anyone who loves travelling.
